Welcome to St Joseph's Primary School Website
St. Joseph's RC Primary School is situated in the village of Bonnybridge, which lies approximately 5 miles southwest of Falkirk. The original building, which was opened in 1925, was replaced in 1989. The school building consists of a non-denominational nursery class, 7 classrooms, gym/dining hall, library and a computer suite.
At St. Joseph's we provide a programme which develops knowledge, understanding and skills in all curricular areas. We aim to help all children to achieve their full potential. The school has a very positive ethos, based on Christian values where staff, pupils, parents and visitors support each other in a caring environment which develops pupils self-esteem and self-confidence.
There is a breakfast club which starts at 8.15am.
There is a programme of Out of School activities, which includes Football, Cross Country, Basketball, Drama and a dance club!
We have a very active School Board and P.T.A. who work hard to support and improve the school.
There is a pupil council which gives the children a voice in the decision-making within the school.
There is also an Eco Council who have recently helped the school to achieve their fourth Green Flag Award!
