Our School Aims were reviewed by our Pupil Council in March 2007.
Our parents were also involved through questionnaires in February 2008.
Our aims are:
To provide a programme of study which will develop knowledge, understanding and skills in all curricular areas, enabling pupils to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
To raise standard of attainment by planning, assessing, recording and reporting to parents and to the Education Service.
3. Learning and Teaching
To provide the highest quality of learning and teaching, matched to the individual needs and abilities of all pupils and promoting healthy living and physical fitness.
4. Support for Pupils
To create a positive ethos, based on Christian values, where staff, pupils, parents and visitors interact and support each other with courtesy and respect within caring environment in agreement with Catholic Teaching.
To provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment in which each pupil is valued and supported.
6. Management and Leadership
To keep trying to raise standards of self-evaluation, monitoring, planning, staff development and effective leadership involving staff.
