Welcome to St Joseph's Primary School Website

St. Joseph's RC Primary School is situated in the village of Bonnybridge, which lies approximately 5 miles southwest of Falkirk. The original building, which was opened in 1925, was replaced in 1989. Our school building consists of a modern non-denominational nursery, 7 classrooms, gym/dining hall, library and a general purpose room. Our outside play space is very well developed thanks to the Friends of St Joseph, with an astro-turf pitch and a basketball court as well as open grassland and a small wooded area, ideal for our outdoor learning.

At St. Joseph's we provide a comprehensive and challenging programme which develops children's creativity, knowledge, understanding and skills in all curricular areas. We aim to help all children to achieve their full potential. The school has a very positive ethos, based on Christian values where staff, pupils, parents and visitors support each other in a caring environment which develops and fosters pupils' self-esteem and self-confidence.

We have a breakfast club which starts at 8.30am. The children enjoy eating their breakfast together and there is always a bit of fun afterwards before the school day begins.

The Friends of St Joseph work hard to support and improve all areas of the school and are always looking for new members.

We have a Pupil Council which gives the children a strong voice in the decision-making within the school.
Our Eco Council have recently led this important part of our school improvement plan to successfully achieve St Joseph's sixth Green Flag Award!
